Bassadanza, attributed to Lorenzo de Medici by Guglielmo Ebreo, appears in 3 versions of 'De practic seu arte tripudii', these being (1) Florence, Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, Antorini 13, (2) Florence, Biblioteca Nazioonale Centrale, Magliabecchiano XIX. 88, (3) New York Public Library, Dance Collection, *MGZMB-Res. 72-254; the 1st of which is dated 1510 description by Mara based on reconstruction by Patri Pugliese (Patri du Chat Gris)
Music: Use 'Le mois de mai' on the Tape of Dance volume 3, or any bassadanza of 34 measures.
For 3 persons, generally 1 gentleman standing between 2 ladies.
